NEIGHBORHOOD

Choices, options, decisions.

Capitol Hill has a little something for everyone, that’s why it’s so easy to be locally oriented in this vibrant neighborhood! Shop for veggies from Washington farmers at the Capitol Hill Farmers Market on Sundays from 11am ‘til 3pm, or daily at Madison Market.

Our kitchens are perfect for cooking, but if coffee is your version of homemade, never fear: take out options are abundant. Start your day off with a cappuccino and crepes at Joe Bar, grab a burger on the way home from Blue Moon, or prepare to impress your date with Single Shot (who knew you could find a meal like that in such a quiet neighborhood?).

Happy hour is within walking distance at The Local 422, whether you want a craft cocktail or a few bites to eat, no need for a designated driver (just walk down hill, #bestcommuteever). The number of options can be overwhelming, and we definitely won’t ask you to pick a favorite, but the Moscow Mule from Montana, with local fave Rachel’s Ginger Beer, and Libby’s Mai Tai from Sun Liquor are great places to start. With so much fun within walking distance, how could you not love happy hour?

Hey health nuts, we haven’t forgotten about you! Whether you’re looking for yoga, pilates, or a good old treadmill, there are a variety of options nearby. If this apartment is a new start, why not seal it in with intention by attending a beginner’s class at CorePower yoga on Broadway?

We understand you may not want to spend all of your time within a 5-block radius of your new home, however tempting. Luckily there are plenty of transit options to get you where you want to go. Bus lines heading downtown and to the University of Washington run frequently, and designated car-share spots are just a block away.

Capitol Hill is known for unique restaurants, galleries, music venues, and events. From thrift shops to high-end boutiques, farmer’s market to supermarkets, you’ll find whatever it is you’re looking for. Make Capitol Hill your home sweet home!
